Hip-Drop-Kick Ass!
So here we go…

A new day has dawned.  Pigs might be flying.  Hell is possibly an icy tundra wasteland. Something I never anticipated has happened:  I’ve gone over to the fabulously unfamiliar world of social networking… and I’ve gotta say, so far so good.

For some reason, I’ve dug my heels in for way too long against the ideas of tweeting, tumbling, youtubing or publishing online.  I suppose I just couldn’t imagine why someone would be interested in the musings of a semi-known (let’s be honest, little-known) belly dancer.  Then I realized, dear reader, you don’t have to be interested - at least not right off the bat.  But I imagine you will be… soon enough.

My intention & hope with this blog is to get the word out regarding all things belly dance; opening glimpses into the past, discussing present trends & exploring the future for this revered and timeless art form, all the while paying respect to the Middle Eastern cultures from which belly dance comes.

So thanks!  If you’ve already read this far… then it’s not thaaat far of a stretch to ask you to keep reading…

Formerly known as Women’s BellyDance Center @ Railroad Square… This studio is pretty much the bomb-diggity for all things Belly Dance in Tallahassee.

We’re now in a NEW location!  Check out the website!  We’ve got classes that range from “I’ve-never-had-a-dance-class-in-my-life” to “bring-on-the-quadruple-layered-moves.”  We also offer Hula, Tribal Fusion, Bellyrobics & a whole lot more.

This studio really speaks for itself!  All of the classes and fitness options at Catwalk are flirty, fun & fabulous!  Working out at Catwalk is definitely NOT your average trip to the gym.  They’ve got a wide range of classes offered, including pole fitness, Zumba, yoga, kickboxing, chairdance, burlesque, & of course, BELLY DANCE (taught by yours truly).  The atmosphere is great, the teachers are fantastic & they really know their stuff.

In my opinion, this is the ladies’ fitness studio in Tallahassee to get buff, ripped, slim, bikini-ready, toned or whatever your fitness goal may be!

Listen, people.  I HATE the gym & I HATE working out.  I’ll do it… but I HATE it.  HATE it.. like root canals and spider bites.  I know for some, the gym is where it’s at - but it’s just not my cup of tea.

But, you know what is?  Art of the Catwalk.  Seriously, folks, it’s the best.
